Stars lend excitement to opening win

But Plattsburgh recovered a last-ditch onside kick and ran the clock out to hold on for a 27-21 victory over Massena Saturday at Sandstoner Park.
Historical society sets times for R&B event

The Jefferson County Historical Society has announced times for various activities scheduled for Saturday's Watertown Red and Black event.
The doors open at 1 p.m., and a meet and greet autograph session with current and former players will take place until 2 p.m.
Special guest Pat Killorin, a former R&B player who was drafted by the Pittsburgh Steelers following an All-American career at Syracuse University, will be welcomed from 1:15-1:25 p.m.
