ADAMS, N.Y.  —  David G. Towles, 21, of 16639 LeMay Road, died early Saturday morning in the emergency room at Samaritan Medical Center, Watertown, from injuries he received in an auto accident on the Fuller Road in the town of Adams. 

A funeral Mass will be said 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 4, at Saint Cecilia's Church, Adams, with Rev. Douglas A. Decker, pastor, officiating. Burial will follow in Ellisburg Cemetery.

Calling hours are 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 3, at Saint Cecilia's Church in the parish center. A vigil service will begin at 8:30 p.m. 

Arrangements are with the Piddock Funeral Home, Adams.

Born Dec. 20, 1987, in Watertown, the son of Jody and Carla Hudson Towles, he graduated in 2006 from South Jefferson Central School, and attended Jefferson Community College, Watertown. 

He was currently employed by Ramsey's Pizzeria in Adams Center. 

Mr. Towles was a member of the Red and Black football team where he earned a sportsmanship award in 2008 and the first-team All Stars of the Empire Football League in 2009. 

Among his survivors are his father and stepmother, Jody and Erin Towles, Adams; mother and stepfather, Carla and Bradley Edwards, Adams; three sisters, Samantha and Catherine Towles, and Rachel Nohle, all of Adams; three brothers, Derek Edwards, Iraq; Chad Edwards, Lorraine; Christopher Nohle, Adams; maternal grandfather, C. David Hudson, Adams; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins. 

He was predeceased by his paternal grandparents, Ralph and Lavina Towles , his maternal grandmother, Jean Hudson, and an uncle, Randy Towles. 

Mr. Towles was a communicant of Saint Cecilia's Church.
