COLCHESTER -- The Vermont Ice Storm will go for their second straight Empire Football League championship tonight when they play host to the Quebec Titans in a 7:30 kickoff at Colchester High School.

The Ice Storm (14-0) are ranked eighth in 360 Sports Management's American Football Top-25 poll after completing their second consecutive unbeaten regular season. Vermont earned its place in the EFL title game with a 48-0 semifinal victory over Amsterdam last weekend.

The Ice Storm handed Quebec its only loss of the season, 21-14, in July. The Titans (10-1) have since run off nine straight wins, reaching the finals by defeating the Plattsburgh North Stars 24-6.

"Quebec's roster is loaded with great athletes," Ice Storm head coach Doc Perez said in a news release. "This is going to be the toughest game we have played all year."

The Ice Storm rely on a high-powered offense that averaged 39.5 points in league play. Quarterback Brad Ruderman finished the season as the EFL's top-rated passer, throwing for 2,367 yards and 34 touchdowns in 10 games.

Austin Partain leads the receiving corps with 51 catches and 12 touchdowns while running backs Jason Young and Akeem Williams combined for 1,020 yards and 12 touchdowns on the ground.
