EAST MONTPELIER -- Vermont Ice Storm quarterback Brad Ruderman completed 21 of 34 passes for 278 yards and three touchdowns in a 36-2 non-league semi-professional football victory over the Vermont Ravens at U-32 High School on Saturday.

Ruderman began the Ice Storm's aerial assault with a 51-yard scoring strike to Austin Partain for a 6-0 lead in the first quarter.

Later in the period, Jamir Zada cracked in from a yard out with the Ice Storm's second touchdown and Ruderman hooked up with Ray Hershenhorn for the two-point conversion.

Ruderman flipped a 22-yard scoring pass to Mike Jabour in the second quarter and hooked up with Rob Joy for the two-point conversion for a 22-0 halftime lead.

The only scoring in the third period came when the Ravens nailed a runner in the end zone for a safety.

Ruderman finished his night with a 7-yard scoring pass to Jabour along with a two-point conversion pass to Jamie Burkholder in the fourth quarter. Relief quarterback Matt Paul finished off the scoring with a 60-yard pass to Joy.

Jabour finished with seven catches for 87 yards, Joy picked up 105 yards on six catches and Partain hauled in four passes for 85 yards.

Corey Belida, Scott Dennis and Kyle Bombardier intercepted Ravens' passes. Del Randall and Donny LeFleur had eight tackles and a sack each for the Ice Storm, with Randall also recovering a fumble.

The Ice Storm begin Empire Football League play Saturday at the Massena (N.Y.) Silver and Black.
