On Monday May 9th, a group of players, coaches and officials from the Empire Football League had the privilege of participating in the filming of a commercial at the Meadowlands Stadium with NFL star Donovan McNabb. This project started as a result of a phone call to EFL Commissioner, Dave Burch 2 weeks ago from a casting agency looking for semi pro football players and officials to participate in a commercial with NFL football players.

Selected to participate by the casting agency were 31 ball players from Empire Football League teams the Scranton Eagles, Broome County Dragons, Watertown Red & Black and 6 players form NYC and NJ teams. By the way, our Watertown Head Coach, George Ashcraft was signed on as technical advisor.

MONTREAL TITANS & FRIENDS PEDAL FOR KIDS:
In their first two years, the Montreal Titans Football Organization has had a close relationship with the Montreal Children's Hospital Foundation. In that time, they have worked on many events with the Children's, on their own and with friends in the community, all looking to raise money for such a worthy cause.

This year, looking to raise the bar, the Montreal Titans are coming together with some of their friends with the intent on focusing all their efforts for the Pedal For Kids Drive that happens every year in June. The Children's Hospital has been doing this for over 13 years and the Titans have been involved for the last three. Each year 35 companies or groups participate and last year the event raised $715 000.00 for the kids.

This year, the 14th edition, the event runs from June 6-10, 2005. The Titans are very excited about their new alliance and have officially named the group; "The Montreal Titans & Friends".
